Zoran Lucic / Sucker for Soccer
Firstly just about every single one of these are absolutely beautiful, though I thought Joe Heart was an odd choice. Secondly, it was so hard topick only fouractually six because I can’t leave out Zizou and Del Piero off my list! Anyway I tried to stray away from the obvious choices like Maradonna, Messi and Pele ( the big three ) to give you an insight on some of my favourite players:
Cantona / First player I really loved back when I was a kid
Del Piero / Big big love for him and juve in my teens
Maldini / Played with such elegance in the defence
Bergkamp / No idea why he isn’t rated so highly outside of England
Totti / Utter rarity to be with a club for so long when he had all the giants of he game after him at one stage but stayed with Roma
Zidane / Don’t care what anyone says but apart from arguably Messi, hands down the greatest player in the last forty five years or so. He was school everyone in his last world cup appearance.
